Qualifications

Three Professional Levels

The level defines the permitted scope of work and candidate requirements. Exam fees are set by the qualification assessment center.

Qualification level 5

Real Estate Transaction Agent

Support activities in the provision of services for the sale of real estate, including properties under construction, and services related to entering into tenancy agreements.

Real Estate Expert

Providing services for the sale of real estate, including properties under construction; advising on mortgage programmes, maternity (family) capital and housing certificates; and working with non-residential property, including out-of-town and commercial real estate.

Broker

Managing a real estate agency (or business unit); organizing services for the transfer of property rights and rights of claim relating to real estate; supervising employees at an agency or business unit; and organizing independent qualification assessment (НОК) and professional development for specialists.

Professional Path

From Preparation to the Public Register

    Choose a Qualification

    Choose a level and review the candidate requirements. Education and work experience are checked before admission to the exam.

  2. 02

    Preparation

    You can prepare independently using a practice exam, or take a course. The curriculum must meet the professional standard.

  3. 03

    Independent Assessment

    The professional exam is taken at an authorized qualification assessment center at a location chosen in your region.

  4. 04

    Public Verification

    A valid certificate is listed in the public register, where any client or employer can verify it.

Exam

Theory and practical part

Independent qualification assessment has two stages. Their duration depends on the qualification level.

  • Agent

    90 minutes: 60 minutes for theory and 30 minutes for six practical tasks.

  • Broker

    120 minutes: theory - 40 tasks in 60 minutes, practice - two tasks, 30 minutes each.

  • Venue

    Choose an assessment center in your region. The list of centers is published separately.

Requirements

Who is allowed to take the exam

Requirements for education and work experience are established by professional standards and are verified before admission to the exam.

Additional professional education is recommended: refresher training in the transfer of real estate rights at least once every two years.
