The Union Proposed a Mechanism for Verifying Realtors' Status via Messenger

The Russian Union of Real Estate Market Participants proposed to the Ministry of Digital Development to develop a mechanism for verifying the professional status of realtors using the 'Max' messenger.

The Russian Union of Real Estate Market Participants, which unites companies from 58 regions, proposed developing a mechanism for verifying the professional status of realtors using the 'Max' messenger. A corresponding appeal was sent to the Ministry of Digital Development at the end of June.

The necessity for such an initiative is explained by the fact that a significant portion of communications between buyers and real estate agents is conducted through digital services and messengers, including 'Max'. Currently, users cannot quickly and reliably determine the qualifications of their interlocutor.

The Union also proposed introducing the possibility of transitioning to the official registry entry to verify the relevance of information about the realtor and automatic verification of the certificate status through integration with relevant information resources. According to the members of the association, the developed mechanism could become a pilot project for using information on independent qualification assessment in domestic digital services.
