In the Rostov Region, a group of 11 people will stand trial on charges of fraud related to inflating the cost of land plots and providing false information to banks.
The Russian Union of Real Estate Market Participants is actively working on creating a legislative framework to legalize the profession of real estate agent. Proposals are being developed that include a mandatory registry of professional participants and qualification confirmation. The Union hopes for the support of the new State Duma convocation in this matter.
