Results of the III Real Estate Lawyers Forum in Moscow

On September 22, the III Real Estate Lawyers Forum "Safe.Forum," organized by the Russian Union of Real Estate Market Participants, was held in Moscow. The event brought together lawyers, heads of real estate agencies, attorneys, tax specialists, bankers, and notaries to discuss current industry issues.

The forum discussed legal processes within companies, specialization of professionals, and professional standards. It was noted that modern transactions require the involvement of several professionals with different competencies. It was also discussed that not every working rule should become a law, and some requirements can be formed by the professional community itself.

Following the forum, the Union is developing proposals for further discussion regarding the description of market participants' functions and the need for state regulation.
